After a trip to Maine for a family reunion in October of 2015, I painted this little piece from a photo taken during a visit to Mount Cadillac in Acadia National Park.  The autumn colors of the wild blueberries and grasses amidst the evergreens and granite made for a feast of color.  I loved mixing the tones for this painting.
