Autumn on Lake Eden was one of my earliest pieces.  Painted in 2014 from a photo taken at Rockmont on Lake Eden in Black Mountain, NC during the Southeast Women's Herbal Conference.  The Herbal conference is an annual gathering of women interested in herbs and natural care and lifestyle.  It's a great event in a very beautiful place.  The trees of Autumn were gorgeous as they reflected on the water.  I wanted to capture the vibrance of those trees.  Because this is such an early painting and I felt a sense of success in completing it, it is a special one for me.  I hope you enjoy it!
